Intensified Activity of Serbian Diplomacy

It seems that Serbian diplomacy has finally waken up and is in diplomatic offensive. President Tadic is touring few countries of the Former Yugoslavia, Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina and Macedonia. At the same time, the Prime Minister Kostunica is in the official visit to London meeting Prime Minister Tony Blair.  The topics are the future of the Serbian Province Kosovo as well as the cooperation with the Hag tribunal and Serbian association process with the EU.  His next official visit may well be Washington.

It seems that political parties in Serbia share responsibilities in foreign policy.  President Tadic has taken responsibility for the neighbours and Prime Minister is focusing his attention to the major political centres.

The aim of President Tadic’s visit to Montenegro is to define common interest of both new states and to create coordinating mechanisms for their fulfilment in the future.

In Croatia President Tadic is meeting Croatian President Mesic.  This will be followed by a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina where he will have political talks with Prime Minister Anan Terzic and individual meetings with all three members of President Council.
